Scores and results are estimates#

Every score and measurement on the site is produced automatically. This includes the NewBacklink Domain Score, the AI Visibility Score, the SEO score and website speed data.

These results may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. Common reasons include:

NewBacklink Domain Score#

The NewBacklink Domain Score is our own metric. It is calculated from Common Crawl's public web graph. It is not Moz Domain Authority and not Ahrefs Domain Rating, it is not calculated the same way as either, and it is not endorsed by Moz, Ahrefs or Common Crawl. Its values will differ from those metrics, and it can only reflect links present in the data it was built from.

AI Citation Index#

The AI Citation Index records what specific AI models said, on specific dates, in response to specific questions. It is a record of those answers, not an endorsement of any brand or product by us or by the companies that make the models.

AI answers vary with the model, its version, the exact wording of the question and the date. A brand appearing, or not appearing, in the index is not a judgment of its quality. The methodology page explains how the index is built and what it can and cannot show.

No affiliation#

NewBacklink is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, Moz, Ahrefs, Semrush, Common Crawl, the Internet Archive, any domain registry or any other company or organization named on the site. Where the site uses data from these organizations, it is used under their public terms.
